Bentley Motors Limitedis a German owned British manufacturer of luxury automobiles. Bentley was originally founded on 18 January 1919 by W. O. Bentley. Bentley had been previously known for his range of rotary aero-engines in World War I, the most famous being the Bentley BR1 as used in later versions of the Sopwith Camel. After the war, W. O. Bentley designed and made production cars that won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1924 and following models which repeated those successes each June 1927, 1928, 1929, and 1930. Purchased by Rolls-Royce in 1931 and as of November 2012, China is the largest individual market for Bentley automobiles.
Bentley introduces its 2013 Continental GT model with the new front bumper look that gives the GT that desired race car look, with a massive bade extending outward, cutting through the air and feeding the engine. The front splitter's simple, straight lines are continued down the side into large skirts and to the bad, where a diffuser dominates the lower quarters, engulfing the exhaust pipes as if they were nothing. Speaking of engines, the design of the exhaust is a quad oval, meaning we're dealing with a brand new twin-turbo V8 project car. The Continental GT is powered by a race-prepped twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that sends its horses to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox.
The Bentley GT Speed is a pre-facelift model, but still has all the right supercar credentials. The W12 engine delivers a massive 600bhp (610PS) W12 engine develops 15 percent more torque and nine percent more power than the standard Continental GT. The resultant performance is impressive to say the least, with a top speed of 202mph (326km/h), a zero to 60mph sprint time of just 4.3 seconds (0-100km/h in 4.5s).
